Matt is a Colorado native who graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder before working in several entrepreneurial environments, specializing primarily in finance and raising capital. This experience has led to a unique perspective on capitalizing projects and Matt’s focus at PlattPointe Capital. He spends most of his day communicating with capital markets and tracking the dynamic debt and equity landscape. A focus on nurturing these relationships allows Matt to deliver the most value to clients seeking alternative capitalization options outside of their normal bank and friends and family networks. His day-to-day responsibilities include working hand-in-hand with developers and property owners to engineer the optimal capital stack, given the constraints unique to each project and Sponsor.

Denver has always been home for Matt. While he works with clients on projects nationwide, he especially enjoys working on projects in his own backyard that are shaping the future of Denver. By adding value through capital advisory, he hopes to fuel that very growth and meet the needs of the city and its population.

He is a member of the Colorado Chapter of NAIOP and an active board member of the C-Club which is the University of Colorado Athletics Alumni Association. His social efforts are directed towards Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado.
